Photon splitting corrections to soft-photon resummation

A bstract In this paper we present an algorithm to add photon-splitting corrections the Yennie-Frautschi-Suura-style soft-photon resummation available in S herpa MonteCarlo event generator. Photon-splitting enter at NNLO QED and, as these effects are not incorporated standard FSR resummations, their size is larger than pure hard photon-emission same order. We introduce different lepton dressing strategies which incorporate further leptons and hadrons addition customary photons, discuss sensitivity parameters such cone size. Finally, quantify of photon splittings into charged fermions scalars under on Z → e + − decays find up 1% for suitably inclusive independent size, 9% if only photons used procedure with large cones.
